Two candidates are set to contest a town council by-election.
Voters will go to the polls on Thursday next week to choose a candidate for the vacant seat on Market Deeping Town Council.
Roy Bell and Michael Bossingham are the two people contesting the seat, which was vacated by Richard Appleyard because of work commitments.
Mr Bell, who lives at Tallington Lakes Leisure Park in Barholm Road, Tallington, has served on the council before and was deputy mayor from 2010 before losing his seat in the 2011 election.
Mr Bossingham, of Wade Park Avenue, Market Deeping, also stood in the 2011 election. He is once again standing as a Green Party candidate.
Polling stations will be open at The Green School, in Church Street, and the Deeping Community Centre, in Douglas Road.
Residents will be able to cast their vote between 7am and 10pm.
