A COUNCIL has relaunched its newspaper as a quarterly magazine.
Lincolnshire County Council’s County News previously came out six times a year. But in order to save money the council has changed the frequency to once every three months.
Council leader Coun Martin Hill (Con) said: “Every publication has to adapt to changing times, and the old-style newspaper version of County News – popular as it was – needed a refresh.
“With the publication now coming out only four times a year, we also felt it was important to give it a longer shelf-life, and a magazine format helps to do that.”
The first 24-page County News magazine, covering the period from April 1 to the end of June, was sent out to residents across the county on Monday.
The magazine will have a total distribution of 337,500 copies.
