Plans to build a budget hotel in Stamford could be turned down.

Maiden Properties wants to build the 36-bedroom hotel on the site of the old Salvation Army hall in East Street.

South Kesteven District Council’s development control committee will consider the application tomorrow (Tuesday). And planning officers have recommended the application be refused.

Stamford Town Council has objected to the plans.
