A developer has revealed its intentions to build 51 homes on two grassland fields.
Kier Homes has submitted a screening opinion for a development on land off Kettering Road, Stamford, to South Kesteven District Council.
The company has asked the council whether an environmental impact assessment needs to be carried out ahead of a full planning application.
According to a letter within the screening opinion, Kier wants to build 51 residential properties and a foul water pumping station. The development would also include an area of open space.
The land is currently vacant although there are several public footpaths crossing it.
