Providing quality work experience for school pupils has won RAF Wittering a top award.

The base was nominated by The Deepings School for an Investors in Education Award, which was presented at a ceremony held in Lincoln by the Lincolnshire and Rutland Education Business Partnership.

Linda Taylor, the school’s careers manager said: “RAF Wittering provide us with an excellent range of quality work experience placements every year and it was our pleasure to nominate them to receive the award.

“They are a great team to work with and always try their best to support our work experience programme.”
