A mother has praised a shared ownership scheme which gave her a foot on the housing ladder.

Cassie Crewe, 35, pictured above with daughter Jasmine, 20 months, recently moved into the new Bowman Mews development in Cherryholt Road, Stamford.

Cassie would have been unable to buy the house outright, but thanks to a part-buy, part-rent scheme from housing association Accent Nene she was able to move in straight away.

She said: “If I’d known that shared ownership was going to be this easy I would have done it a long time ago.

“I would recommend it to anyone as a great way to get on the property ladder.”

Visit www.accentnene.org for details on the scheme.
