CHILDREN learnt about the importance of road safety during a fun lesson.
The parent and teacher association at Baston Primary School organised for Jumicar, which is based in Nottingham and offers educational driving experiences, to visit the school.
All the children had an opportunity to drive one of the petrol-powered cars around the school playground and there was also police community support officers there giving advice on the importance of road safety.
Chairman of the association Lisa Squires said: “We like to organise fun things that are also educational.
“The children absolutely loved going in the cars and I think they learned a lot about safety awareness on the roads.”
