FAMOUS author Isla Whitcroft visited Prince William School, Oundle, to give pupils a masterclass in creative writing.
The session was held as part of the school’s celebration of World Book Day on February 29.
To get one of the 25 places available in the workshop the Year 9 pupils had to win their place, answering which author they would most like to meet.
School librarian Laura Bradshaw, said: “There was a lot of excitement in the school about her coming.
“They loved it, the pupils really enjoyed themselves.
“We are thinking of doing a creative writing club to build on the visit and try and get the pupils work published, maybe for charity.”
