AN ART group is hosting a study day focusing on antique porcelain.
The Stamford branch of the National Decorative and Fine Art Society will examine the restoration of the three 500-year-old Kangxi vases which were famously smashed by a falling visitor in the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
Ceramic expert Penny Bendall, who restored the vases, will lead the study day on Wednesday, October 12, in the Brewhouse at Burghley House.
It starts at 10am and the cost is £20, including coffee at reception and mid morning break.
