Two doctors’ surgeries have held prize draws to raise money.

The patient group at St Mary’s Medical Centre in Wharf Road, Stamford, held its annual raffle on Friday, December 14.

A huge range of prizes were on offer to those who had entered, including food, drink and gifts.

The raffle raised £1,000 for the surgery, which will be put towards equipment for the surgery.

The group is taking a more active role at the surgery and is keen to hear what kind of services patients would like to see more money spent on.

Patients registered at the practice can have their say either by going to the group’s meetings or ask at the centre’s reception for a committee member to contact them.

In Bourne the Galletly Medical Practice patients group also held a Christmas draw and coffee morning on Thursday, December 14.

The draw to win donated items raised about £600.
