A MEMBER of the House of Lords visited Bourne Grammar School on Monday to share his knowledge of politics.

Lord Quentin Davies of Stamford spoke to Year 7 students who study Government and Politics in Citizenship lessons where they learn about our system of Government, the two Houses of Parliament, role of the Monarch and how laws are made.

Lord Davies, who was formerly the MP for Bourne and Stamford, took questions from the pupils on a wide range of challenging questions concerning his political career.

This included asking about his change of party allegiance, parliamentary expenses, difficult decisions he has made and controversies he has been involved in.
