Scores of youngsters enjoyed a day of cricket at a primary school sports festival.
Market Deeping Cricket Club in Outgang Road hosted four schools on Wednesday last week.
More than 120 Year 3 and 4 pupils from Market Deeping, Linchfield, William Hildyard and Baston primary schools took part in training activities during the morning session.
They then got to play a continuous game in the afternoon, officiated by Year 9 pupils from The Deepings School.
Community school sports co-ordinator Claire Ladley said: “They played a relaxed game which enabled them to practice what they had learned.
“It didn’t matter if they had played before or not.”
