Youngsters got on their bikes to give a helping hand to the elderly and raise money for charity.
A group of five pedalled away for an hour-and-a-half to raise £400 as part of a year’s activities being organised by the Anglia Co-operative foodstore in The Burghley Centre for the town’s Butterfield Centre.
They cycled around the car park of the former AHF store in Manning Road to take the total raised so far for the Butterfield Centre to almost £900.
A group of pupils from Morton Primary School have also completed a full lap of Rutland Water, covering 26 miles in about six hours, to raise £600 for Cancer Research UK.
The cycle was organised by pupils Grace Sowerby, Olivia Hannah and Erin Warcup.
