One of Stamford Endowed Schools’ boarding houses, Browne House, has entered a team to compete in the Rat Race tomorrow, to raise funds for #teamgeorge.
The course at Burghley House is 20 miles long and has 200 obstacles, making it the world’s biggest obstacle course. Eddie Robinson, George’s younger brother who has been staying in the boarding house this year, is one of the 19 Stamford School pupils running.
Each of the runners has pledged to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.
The team are hoping to raise over £5,000 for #teamgeorge:
Browne headmaster Leigh Ware said: “The rat race is a fantastic challenge for our sixth form boarders who have been training hard and will need to work together, support and help each other– exactly what boarding at Stamford School is all about. We hope the local community and beyond will support us on the day.”
