A charity shop is offering shoppers the chance to refill their water bottles in return for a donation to promote a water campaign.
The team at Oxfam in High Street, Stamford, hope to raise an extra £500 this month to support the charity’s water-related projects.
Shop manager Maggie Bentley, pictured, said: “With the arrival of the warm weather, we wanted to raise awareness of the importance of water and how it is used. We hope to raise £500 this month to support water-related projects.”
Shoppers are encouraged to make a donation in return for refilling their own water bottles in a bid to raise money and cut the amount of plastic bottles being used.
