PEOPLE are being reminded to securely fix their number plates following the launch of an initiative last month.
Police in Rutland set up a scheme to tackle the problem of number plate thefts in the county.
So far, 18 garages have voiced their support for the initiative and will be fitting tamper proof screws for free.
Neighbourhood Watch in Rutland has also backed the scheme.
