More than £1,900 was raised at a charity walk at the weekend.

Nearly 100 people took part in the Waters’ Walk from Eyebrook Reservoir to Rutland Water, which raises funds for WaterAid Rutland fundraising group.

The walk, which took place on Sunday, was about 12 miles long and went along footpaths and quiet roads across the countryside.

Their was also a shorter five mile walk for participants.

Hot soup and refreshments awaited all walkers at the finish in Normanton.
