RESIDENTS at St John and St Anne sheltered housing complex in South Street, Oakham enjoyed a delicious belated jubilee tea party on Saturday.
About 24 residents in David Royce House were invited by their neighbour Audrey Bellamy-Moore to attend the party which was organised by her daughter Christine Fullick.
Christine’s family and friends all helped to make a spread of food which included sandwiches, strawberries and cream and a huge chocolate cake.
Mrs Bellamy-Moore said: “We all had a very good time. I have had lots of thank you cards put through the door.
“There was plenty to eat and drink and we all sat in one long table.
“The common room was all done up with balloons and the like.”
