Reward for Scott Weatherbed for top homes

A SITE manager has won an award for building exceptional homes.

Scott Weatherbed, of Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, was victorious in the first round the annual National House-Building Council’s Pride in the Job Awards and is now shortlisted for a regional title for his Oak Springs development at Elsea Park, Bourne.

The awards recognise outstanding quality in house-building throughout the UK, rewarding site managers responsible for managing the construction of new homes from start to finish who have an individual influence on the overall quality of the finished product.

Executive chairman of the National House-Building Council, Isabel Hudson, said: “Anyone gaining an award against such strong competition can be very proud of their achievement.”
