AS the clock ticks down to the big event, people across our area are gearing up for today’s royal wedding festivities.

Nikky Pearce sent in this photo or her sons, Jonathan, six, and Sebastian Mills, four, in their outfits made specially by their grandmother Sue Pearce from Dymchurch, Kent.

The photo was taken in their garden in Bourne Road, Essendine and they will be attending the village picnic this afternoon.

The outfits were made to a pattern Sue found in her loft from fabric bought from Sukie’s in Stamford.

Jonathan also wore his outfit to the royal wedding held at Great Casterton Primary School on Thursday.

Their older brother, Pilot Officer Steven Mills, trained with Prince William at RAF Shawbury.
