The doors to a new charity shop in Stamford were officially opened this week.

A new RSPCA store has opened in Red Lion Street and staff and volunteers were on hand to mark the occasion on Monday.

The store has opened in the unit formerly home to Stamford Photo Express before it moved.

It is open Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 4pm.

The charity is now appealing for donations in clothes, books and toys, as well as more volunteers to add to the team.

To find out more, speak to manager Julie McRoyall or her deputy Barbie Miller, in store.

The local branch of the charity also has a store in Market Deeping.
