A team from Oakham Rugby Club took on a muddy obstacle course in a bid to raise funds for the club’s new pavilion.

The team consisting of Will Armstrong, Tom Burton, Phillip Gant, Charlotte Knight, Richard Pocock and Emma Walsh completed the Wild Warrior Mud Run at Brailsford in Derbyshire to raise funds for the new facility on land to the north of the Oakham bypass.

The challenge included a 10km cross country cross, featuring cargo net scrambles, wading through chest high water, crawling through tunnels and balance beams.

The team finished in just over one hour and 20 minutes and hope to have raised several hundred pounds.
