Running race at festival given financial backing by salad business

Bourne-based prepared salads business Bakkavor, presented a cheque for £200 to Bourne Town Harriers to support the fun run the club is running at Grimsthorpe.

Bakkavor is supporting the 3k fun run at Grimsthorpe Castle on Monday.

Race entry can be made on the Bourne Town Harriers website www.bournetownharriers.org

Entry to the race gives competitors free entry to the castle grounds.

Proceeds from this year’s race will go to St John Ambulance, Help for Heroes and the Big Issue Foundation.
