Aviation enthusiasts have celebrated a milestone event in their club’s history.

Rutland Aviation Society reached its 20th anniversary this year which was marked by a special club meeting.

Guest speaker for the celebratory meeting was Bob Iveson who flew the Tornado during the rapid deployment which resulted from the Gulf War in 1991.

The group meets on the first Tuesday of the month to enjoy talks on a range of aviation topics including military flying, piloting Concorde, aerial photography, flight simulators and gliding.
