A host of Fairtrade goods were promoted and sold at Rutland’s Fairtrade Market on Saturday.
Members of the Rutland Fairtrade Steering Group, who organise the market, have called the event the county’s “best ever”.
It was opened at Oakham Castle by mayor Adam Lowe and Rutland MP Alan Duncan was among the hundreds of visitors who attended.
Handbags, jewellery, cakes and jams were sold on the day.
The raffle prize of a £50 Christmas hamper was won by Polly Moverley, from Oakham, and the £89 raised was donated to One Water, a charity providing clean water projects in Africa.
