Rutland roads set to close for work

A NUMBER of roads in Rutland are set to close next week for work to be carried out.

Seaton Road in Uppingham will be closed from Monday to Friday while the carriageway is reconstructed.

Temporary traffic lights will be in use on the A6003 from Monday to September 14 while the traffic signals at the bridge are replaced.

Queens Street in Uppingham will be closed on Wednesday while a weak cellar is filled in.

Stop/go boards will be in use between Stretton and Clipsham and temporary traffic lights will be in use on Luffenham Road in Ketton, on Thursday, while tree works are carried out.

On Monday, work will restart on the Barnsdale Hill cycle track, on the A606, and will last for three weeks.
