Former scouts reminisced about visits to their Norwegian counterparts to celebrate a link that was established 63 years ago.
Ex-members of Rutland scouting groups gathered to celebrate their link with 4th Kristiansand Norwegian Scouts at the scout hut in Grampion Way on Sunday.
Former scouting friends and leaders shared memories and browsed the many photographs and articles on display at the meeting.
Ray Hill, who had been one of the scouts taking part in a visit to Norway in the 1950s presented a DVD produced to record the history of the link between the two groups.
Bill Steel, a founder member of the link, also attended with wife Mary.
The next exchange visit will be in 2014.
