AN annual show in Ryhall was a resounding success with more than 265 entries.

Ryhall Gardeners organised the third annual Ryhall and Belmesthorpe Show, which took place at Ryhall Village Hall on Saturday.

More than 265 entries were received in classes including vegetables, flowers, fruit, preserves, baking, handicrafts and children’s entries.

The best in show trophy was presented to Graham Morgan for a handmade chair.

Show organisers said the exhibitors “excelled themselves” and visitors were also able to enjoy specially prepared light lunches and afternoon tea.

The theme of the show was gardening and local businesses donated excellent prizes for the raffle associated with the theme.

Thanks were also given by the Ryhall Gardeners to everyone who supported the show and in particular Gerald Massington for his help in organising the popular event.
