CROWDS of people turned out for fun and games at a summer fair this weekend.

St Augustine’s Primary School in Kesteven Road, Stamford, held its annual fair on Saturday and dozens of families went along to join in the entertainment.

The fun included traditional fair stalls and games, a car boot sale, children’s rides, a raffle and barbecue.

The event was organised by the school’s parent-teacher association and more than £900 was raised, which will go towards projects at the school.

Association chairman Wendy Hutchins said: “It was a really good day. Everyone had fun and we raised £900 for the school and we’re really pleased with that.

“I would like to thank everyone who came along and supported the event and those who gave up their time to help on the day.”
