Have your say

THREE hundred tons of scrap metal caught fire in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).

Fire crews from Bourne, Market Deeping and Billingborough, and a water carrier from Holbeach were called to a scrapyard in South Fen Road in Bourne at 2.30am after reports of a fire.

The shredded vehicle material was destroyed in the blaze, which was caused by the materials spontaneously combusting.
