PET owners are frantic with worry after two cats went missing.

Lollipop, pictured right, went missing from his home in Preston, on Sunday.

She is a striking grey Bengal cat and is microchipped.

His owner Jean Dawes is appealing for people to check their garages, gardens and outhouses, and is very distressed.

Anyone who finds Lollipop should call Mrs Dawes on 01572 737426.

And long haired dark tabby cat Gollum went missing from his home in Geeston Road, Ketton, at about 11pm on Monday last week. He is a long cat but quite slim.

Gollum, who is about seven-years-old, was not wearing a collar but he is microchipped.

His owner Cheryl Green is concerned as he spends a lot of time in fields, which were flooded during the heavy rains and her home also backs onto a railway line.

Mrs Green has contacted her neighbours to see if he is hiding in a garage or shed as she described him as “scared of his own shadow” but has had no luck.

Anyone who sees him should call her on 01780 720977.
