Carollers from a charity group and members of staff brought Christmas spirit to shoppers in Sainsbury’s in Stamford at the weekend while collecting funds for their cause.
A group of fundraisers from Epilepsy Action gave up their time to sing to shoppers on Saturday.
Sainsbury’s PR ambassador and charity co-ordinator Sally Fulcher said:
“It was brilliant. The local community in Stamford is great and always back us when we hold things like this.
“On Saturday some of the customers even joined in with the singing.
“The singers had their collection buckets out but it was more about spreading some Christmas joy.
“We thought rather than playing some Christmas CDs it would be nice to have some live carol singers and our customers loved it.”
