Community groups and charities who operate in Bourne are being invited to have a stall to showcase their activities.
People are also being encouraged to come along the community information and networking event at Bourne Corn Exchange on the October 31, from 6pm to 8pm to find out more about the work being done by the voluntary groups in the town.
The event is organised by Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service, a charity who provide support and advice to the voluntary sector, and is supported by the Len Pick Trust.
The evening will include stalls and stands from local organisations, the opportunity to meet funders and to find out about volunteering opportunities and how you can get involved in your community.
Chairman of the Len Pick Trust Ranna Patel, said: “This is a great opportunity for local groups to showcase their activities and meet other groups in the area and for local people to find out what’s happening in their own community”
Groups are asked to register their place prior to the event by contacting Ruth Copleston at LCVS on 01476 561798.
