THE final preparations are being made ahead of a charity football match being run by a teenager from Oakham.
The game, organised by Jade Newman, 18, of Alpine Close in Oakham, will take place on Sunday, September 9, from 1pm to 3pm at Catmose College.
Jade has organised the event in memory of her big brother Lee Sutton, who died aged 19 in January 2005 only two months after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour and to raise money for charity Brain Tumour Research.
The event will be free of charge but there will be plenty of opportunities to give to the cause including a balloon release, where people can donate money to write a message and then release it.
There will be a buffet at The Railway Inn in Oakham after the game.
