TWO sisters will cycle almost 1,000 miles to raise money for charity.

Selena and Melissa Hedley Lewis, of Birkholme Manor, Corby Glen, will begin a bike ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats tomorrow (Saturday).

The pair are taking part in the Deloitte Ride Across Britain challenge and aim to raise £8,000 for the British Red Cross and the British Paralympic Association.

Melissa will celebrate her 30th birthday halfway through the ride.

Selena, 31, said: “Hopefully the training round local lanes will help us on our way, as Lincolnshire is definitely not flat.”
