Hundreds of visitors turned out for a village fete on Saturday.

Ryhall Church Fete was held in the grounds of Ryhall Village Hall and featured a stalls selling cakes, books and plants.

Crowds also enjoyed bowling competitions, a pinball machine and performances from Nottingham-based dance group The Maids of Clifton.

The event raised more than £2,300 for the church and chairman of fundraising John Finden said: “It was a brilliant day and one of the best fetes we have had yet.”
