SNOOKER legend Steve Davis was on cue as the star attraction at an exhibition event at Bourne Snooker Centre. The six-time world champion was also joined by professional referee Michaela Tabb on the green baize at the centre, in Cherry Holt Road, for an evening of snooker fun.
More than 170 snooker fans turned out to see Steve put on an show that included trick shots and coaching tips, and local players got the chance to play a number of frames against him.
Rob Venner, who works at the centre, said: “Steve put on a great show and really engaged with everyone. The whole place was packed and it was a really good night.
“He hit a couple of century breaks, with a few trickshots along the way, but he didn’t take it too seriously and we all had great fun.”
