Primary school pupils across more than 100 schools in Lincolnshire and Rutland tucked into a school meal designed by a St Augustine’s Primary School pupil on Wednesday.

Lola-Rose Smith, five, won a competition run by catering company Farm House Kitchen based at St Gilbert’s Primary School, which provides primary school meals.

Lola-Rose’s winning meal was roast beef with a sticky toffee pudding.

She was presented with a children’s baking set as a prize.
