A TEAM of four women from a dental practice are braving the highest heights to raise money for dental care in the third world.

Dental nurses Christy Chaplin, Phoebe Robson, and Claire Cornell and practice manager Lesley Goodrick from West Road Dental Practice in Oakham will do a charity zip slide in Milton Keynes next month to raise money for Bridge2Aid.

The zip slide which is more than 400 metres long will be put up at Xscape in Milton Keynes in an event organised by the charity.

The women each have to raise £100 each in order to take part.

Lesley said: “As we work in the dental industry we wanted to do something to help people in poorer countries where dental care isn’t available.

“We are all really looking forward to it and hope that we can raise as much money as possible.”

The charity not only provides dental care for people in Tanzania, it trains them in dentistry.

To sponsor the women visit the practice in West Road, Oakham.
