Volunteers manned a market stall to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The team sold handmade crafts and Christmas decorations to shoppers in Stamford and raised £1,470.
A fundraising gig at Mama Liz’s earlier this month raised £400 and a quiz hosted in conjunction with Stamford Round Table at the Cosy Club raised a further £323 for the cause, which has helped sufferer Ned Cullen.
Fundraiser Ellen Chisholm said: “I’d like to thank everyone who was involved with organising an event for the charity as well as everyone who attended them.”
Our picture shows Tina Firkins, Kate Sammon, Lisa Davies, Heather Cullen and Alison Pike on the market stall.
