A cat rehoming charity has appealed for help after an influx of animals in recent weeks.
Volunteers at Stamford and District Cats Protection, which also covers Bourne, the Deepings and Oakham, are desperately looking for homes for more than 20 cats.
Many of the animals have been with the charity for up to four months.
Branch co-ordinator Elaine Wigginton said: “Some have come in as strays, some from marriage break-ups and some from people who can no longer look after them.
“We are very quiet in terms of homing compared to a few months ago.
“Please contact us or visit the website if you can help.”
