Two friends will cycle more than 900 miles together as they raise funds for a charity that helps sufferers of a rare bowel disease.

Allen Lang-Norris, 29, from Stamford, and Dean Baines, from Uppingham, pictured, are cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise money for CHAMPS Appeal.

The charity helps people with Hirschprung’s Disease, a rare but serious condition of the large intestine. The men chose the charity as Dean’s nephew was born with the disease.

Allen and Dean will set off tomorrow (Friday) and hope to reach the end of their cycle in 10 days.

They aim to raise about £500. If you would like to sponsor them, visit www.justgiving.com/allenanddeanlejog/.
