A MONTHLY craft fair held at Fineshade Woods was a success.
Stamford Artisans Guild displayed a range of talents at the fair, which took place on Sunday, including jewellery making and photography.
Chairman of the guild Shalini Austin said the event was a success, despite worries it may not be as popular because of Burghley Horse Trials which was also taking place.
She said: “There were a lot of people about and it was a good selling day.
“It was a fairly enjoyable day as it always is at Fineshade. It is normally quiet in September because of Burghley but it seemed to be a busy day.”
She thanked the visitors for their support as she said the artisans are all running very small businesses.
