A CRAFT fair was popular with tourists and local people alike on Sunday.
Stamford Artisans Guild organised the fair, which took place at Stamford Arts Centre. Artisans displayed their talents, which included wood turning, jewellery making, textiles and photography.
Chairman of the guild Shalini Austin said that as well as local people, there were also tourists visiting the town from abroad.
She said: “It was a success and we had a steady flow of people, until the downpour happened.
“It was pleasing to see so many tourists as well.
“Most of the artisans I spoke to were pleased with how it went.”
