Young linguists have been brushing up on their French and Italian skills with fun games and competitions.

The confidence booster sessions were held for Year 10 pupils at Stamford Queen Eleanor School to help the pupils use their languages for real purposes and practise their accents and vocabulary.

The pupils had to answer questions to build a car and crack a code, following instructions and answering questions in French or Italian and staff said it was great to hear the pupils speaking confidently.
