Stamford Town Council civic parade to combine with 90th anniversary of Royal British Legion’s Stamford branch

THIS year’s Stamford Town Council Civic Parade and Service will form a joint celebration with the Stamford Branch of the Royal British Legion as it celebrates its 90th anniversary.

The parade takes place on Sunday and a service of rededication will be held to mark the occasion.

The parade will arrive at All Saints’ Church at 11am, where town councillors will be joined by veterans for the service.

As part of the celebrations, the Armed Forces Day flag will be raised at Stamford Town Hall.
