HUNDREDS of people turned out to see classic steam engines and vintage cars at the 10th Edith Weston Village Fair.
Crowds gathered to see a range of 1940s nostalgia with vintage vehicles, model aircrafts and a range of craft stalls on display at the village’s fair which was held on Sunday and Saturday.
The event also raised funds for the Stamford branch of the Royal British Legion, the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance and the Edith Weston Village Associations.
The fair’s committee chairman Bill Sharpe said: “It was very well attended and we were quite lucky with the weather.
“Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we’ve had great feedback from the event.”
