People can still sign up for an evening charity walk in the grounds of a castle.

There are just three weeks to go until Walk Ten at Grimsthorpe Castle on August 17.

The event has been organised to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The charity’s events fundraiser for Lincolnshire David Hedges said: “It promises to be a fun and magical evening in the beautiful surroundings of Grimsthorpe Castle.

“By taking part you’ll be helping to raise the funds that make it possible for Marie Curie Nurses to care for terminally ill people at home at the time when they most need it most.”

Following the walk around the castle grounds, which starts at 6pm, there will be entertainment throughout the evening, such as fireworks, live music and fire poi.

Registration is £10 per person in advance, children under 16 go free and everyone is encouraged to raise as much as they can to support Marie Curie.

Walkers can enter on the night but adult registration is £20.
