GARDENERS will be able to help support a children’s charity by planting a seed.

People will now be able to plant a sweetpea named after the Anna’s Hope charity is now on sale from Simply Seeds.

Anna’s Hope was set-up in 2006 by Rob and Carole Hughes, of Pillsgate, in honour of their daughter Anna, who tragically died from a brain tumour.

The charity aims to help children and young people diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Mrs Hughes said: “Anna loved perfumed flowers and her favourite colour was blue.

“We have had this beautiful long stemmed, strong smelling sweet pea bred and named “Anna’s Hope” in memory of our beautiful little daughter Anna Olivia Hughes.”
