Parents in Rutland are being reminded of a support group available for anybody who looks after a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder as part of ADHD Awareness Week.
This group is for anyone who cares for a child with ADHD, or is concerned that their child may have ADHD.
It is estimated that roughly five percent of children and young people are affected by ADHD which is associated with a range of learning, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The group is run in conjunction with ADHD Solutions which provides information, help and support for children, young people, and adults with the condition.
The group will be meeting on November 2 at the Family Centre, Oakham CE Primary School from 10am to 11.30am.
